The Reward of Women in Paradise

Question: Whenever I read The Noble Qur'an, I find in many Verses Allah giving glad tidings to His believing male slaves of Al-Hur Al-'Ain who extol in beauty. Does the woman have any partner in Paradise other than her husband? Furthermore, most of the statements concerning bounties in Paradise are directed toward the believing man. Is the reward of the believing woman in Paradise less than that of the believing men?

Answer: There is no doubt that reward in the Hereafter encompasses both men and women. This is based on the following statements of Allah:

"Never will I allow to be lost the work of any you, male or female." (V. 3.195)

"Whosoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer, We will give a good life." (V16.97)

"And whoever does righteous good deeds, being a male or a female, and is a true believer, such will enter Paradise." (V4:124)

Allah mentions them entering into Paradise together:

"They and their wifes will be in pleasent shade." (V.36:56)

Also:

"Enter Paradise, you and your wifes in happiness." (V.43:70)

Allah also mentions that He will recreate the women in the Verse:

"Verily We created them of special creation and made them virgins." (V.56:35,36)

That is, Allah will recreate the elderly women and make them virgins. Similarly, Allah will recreate the elderly men and make the youths. It is also mentioned in the Hadith that the women of this worldly life have a superiority over Al-Hur Al-'Ain due to the acts of worship and obedience that they performed (in this world). Therefore, the believing women will enter Paradise just like the believing men. If a woman had a number of husbands and she enters Paradise with them, she will choose among them and will choose the one with the best character and behaviour.

Asalaamo alaikum mina systrar.

Jag har alltid funderat på vad en kvinna skulle få i paradiset liknande till vad män skulle få "horyleen" . Så jag hittade svaret på mina funderingar, i www.salafitalk.net så var det en annan som frågade om just det här. Så jag skickar det till er det verkade vara intressant, för jag känner några som har haft liknande funderingar.

Fråga:



"Do women get anything similar to what the men get in Paradise, i.e. the men get the hooryleen?

What is the status of the believing women in Paradise compared to the hooryleen?"

Q.58: It is mentioned that there will be virgins of Paradise for the men in Paradise, so what is there for the women?

Answer: Allah the Blessed the Most High says about the blessings of the people of paradise:
‘…therein you shall have what you souls desire and therein you shall have what you ask for. An entertainment from the Oft-Forgiving, the Bestower of Mercy’ (Surah Fussilat 41: 31-32)
And He the Most High says:
‘…and therein is all that the souls desire and all that the eyes can delight in and you will abide therein forever.’ (Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:71)

And it is known that marriage is from the most intense (of things) which the souls desire. So, it will take place in Paradise for the people of Paradise, whether they be males or females.
And (as for) the woman, Allah the Blessed the Most High will marry her off in Paradise to her husband in the world, as Allah the Blessed, the Most High says:
‘Our Lord, and make them enter the everlasting gardens which you have promised them and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives and their offspring. Indeed you are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.’ (Surah Gaafir 40:8)

And if she did not marry in the world, then indeed Allah the Most High will marry her off to what is pleasing to her in Paradise.
