Question: Is wiping over the nape whilst performing the Wudhoo not recommended? Because I have heard that it is imitating the Jews?

Answer: Yes, it has not been recommended, and Islamically it has not been legislated to wipe over the nape, however wiping is only for the head and the ears, as this has been established in the Quraan & Sunnah.

ج : نعم ، لا يستحب ، ولا يشرع مسح العنق ، وإنما المسح يكون للرأس والأذنين فقط ، كما دل على ذلك الكتاب والسنة .
